Getting from Surat Thani Train Station to your destination

Where is Surat Thani Train Station? 

The Surat Thani Train Station is located in Phun Phin, which is 14 kilometers from town. Surat Thani is in central part of Southern Thailand. Due to its location, going around the south from Surat Thani is both cheap and ideal. Rather than taking the more costly option of flying direct, many take the train to Surat Thani town. From here travelers can have the choice of going to the Gulf of Thailand or Andaman side. Phantip Travel offers several routes from Surat Thani train station including Koh Samui, Phuket or Krabi. Hence, taking the train to Surat Thani can be another option for many.  

Surat Thani – Local Transfer Information

To Town – Local Orange or Red Buses (departs every 15 minutes) are available which will take you into Surat Thani Town from Phunphin.

Koh Samui – If you are going to the Gulf Islands (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao), passengers can travel by Phantip Travel directly to Donsak Pier to catch the ferry. Travelers can then take one of the ferries to the following islands they desire.  

Phuket – Local bus (Phantip Travel) operate from Surat Thani Train Station at 07.45 am  to Phang-Nga, and Phuket. These buses are a local air-condition bus that will pick up and drop off passengers along the way. 

Krabi – For the passengers  who wish to travel from Surat Thani Train Station  to Krabi, Ao Nang, Railay, Phi Phi  or Koh Lanta, can book our daily direct services. The  buses will departure from  the station at  08.00 am and head directly to Krabi. And once at Krabi, passengers with transfers to the islands must change buses in Krabi Town.
